Katasani Resigns From BJP, Joins YSRCP

Uyyuru: Former MLA Katasani Rambhupal Reddy from Kurnool district joined YSR Congress Party here today in the presence of party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. YS Jagan was on historic walkathon programme Praja Sankalpa Yatra near Kanumuru when Katasani met him. YSRCP Chief welcomed the former MLA Katasani and hundreds of his supporters who also joined the party. Katasani who was with BJP, he resigned from the party to join YSRCP.

Katasani recalled late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy's tenure as the Chief Minister during the event and said that many developmental programmes were initiated during the late leader's period at Panyam in Kurnool district. He said he was lucky to walk along side the great leader's son YS Jagan. He added that he would sincerely work for the party and execute whatever responsibility is bestowed upon him.
