Karnataka PUC Results 2018 Declared: Where To Check

The much-awaited Karnataka Pre-University second year (PUC II) 2018 results were declared at 11am today. As per the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) website, the results were to be out on April 30, 2018. The overall pass percentage in Karnataka PUC results is 59.56%. The top scoring district is Dakshina Kannada.

While 52.30 per cent of boys have cleared the exam; the pass percentage of girls is 67.1. The last date for re-verification is 7 May. Supplementary exam will be held in June 2018.

The exams had papers for 23 subjects, 11 languages and 50 combinations in total. Of the 6,90,150 students registered for the Karnataka Pre University 2nd year Certification Examination 2018, a total of 6.90 lakh students, from 4,725 colleges, appeared for the exam conducted between 1st to 17th March by the Department of Pre-University Eductaion, Karnataka.

Among the 6.9 lakh students who appeared, 3,52,292 were boys and 3,37,860 were girls. In a bid to avoid all kinds of unethical practices and malpractice, CCTV cameras were installed inside the examination halls.

The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has declared the results of the pre-university (PUC II) examination 2018. The Karnataka PUC II year exams were held from March 1 to March 17. While 3,52,292 male students had registered for the exam, the number of girls who appeared for the Karnataka PUC 2nd year exams are said to be 3,37,292.

It's worth mentioning here that the PUC II year exams 2018 were advanced because of the Karnataka Assembly polls which are to take place in May. About 23,890 examiners were deployed to check the papers in 2018. Last year, the results were out in May.

Grace Marks For Physics Paper In Karnataka PUC II Examinations 2018

Board officials from the Director of the Department of Pre-University Education said that students will be awarded one grace mark for the Physics paper. Five additional marks will be given to all students who have attempted optional questions.

Evaluation of Karnataka PUC II Examinations 2018, Supplementary Exam Dates

The PUC II 2018 answer sheets were evaluated by 23,980 examiners, with an additional 53 new evaluation centres introduced this year. It is learnt that the supplementary exams will be held in the month of May.
