Kajal Shoots For Tamil Remake Of Queen In France
Hyderabad: The doe-eyed actress Kajal Aggarwal is gearing up for her next Tamil flick Paris Paris, a remake of the hit Hindi film Queen starring Kangana Ranaut. Kajal says she evinced interest to be part of the remake after watching the original film.
“It’s a project very close to my heart. When I saw Queen, I told myself I’d love to adapt the film in some other language. We’d like to prove a point with this project. I’m not looking forward to filling in anyone’s shoes in this role. We are recreating the film in another language. I treat this as an original, in my own way,” a website quoted the actress her.
The film's shoot is underway in France which is being directed by actor-filmmaker Ramesh Aravind. Interestingly, the film is being made in four languages in the South. Kajal is doing the Tamil version, while Tamannaah Bhatia has been roped in for the Telugu remake, Parul Yadav and Manjima Mohan will be seen in Kannada and Malayalam films respectively.
