The makers released the teaser today after day's delay owing to Kanchi Seer's death. Here's a peek into Kaala teaser.

Super star Rajinikanth was last seen in Kabali which failed to impress the audiences. Kabali was directed by PA Ranjith who has teamed up for the second time with Rajinikanth for the Tamil superstar's upcoming flick Kaala.

Kaala is produced by Rajini's son-in-law and actor Dhanush. We already informed you that, Dhanush is demanding a hefty price for overseas rights of all languages. Post Kabali debacle, the distributors are stepping back and are in a dilemma over shelling out huge amount on the film.

Kaala will be released in Telugu and Tamil. The Thalaivar has a huge fan following in all the three states—AP, Telangana and Tamil Nadu. In a latest development doing the rounds on social media, we hear that there an offer of INR 33 crores for Kaala Telugu movie rights but Dhanush has reportedly rejected it. Grapevine has it that he wants to sell the Kaala Telugu rights for a whopping Rs 40 Cr. He is expecting more amount on Kaala which may not happen at all. The talk is that the makers of the movie are getting greedy as they wait for a lucrative deal. Trade pundits predict that they might close the same deal if no buyers come forward to invest so much.

Kaala is slated for release on April 29 across the world. Rajini's Kaala will be dubbed into Telugu and this too is a concern for the Tollywood filmmakers as it might interfere with the collections of a straight telugu flick slated for release in April.

You already know that the reason, Super star Mahesh Babu's Bharath Ane Nenu will the big screens on April 21 is to avoid clash with the Rajini movie. The makers of Bharath Ane Nenu are eyeing a solo release and they are pushing all the films which were slotted to release in the same month. Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya has been pushed to May and Nani's Krishnarjuna Yuddham is likely to postpone its release too.

As Bharath Ane Nenu is not a dubbed film, the makers are banking on the Telugu superstar's huge fan base in both the telugu speaking states. Naturally, distributors of all the areas would prefer to purchase Bharath Ane Nenu rights for a fancy price rather than Rajinikanth's Kaala which is going to be a dubbed film.

According to trade pundits, Rs 33 Cr is the best price for Rajini's film Kaala after the disaster of a hyped film like Kabaali. Will Dhanush strike a deal of Rs 33 Cr or will he wait for a better deal is yet to be known? We will update you on who bagged the Kaala Telugu Movie rights and for how much once they make an official announcement on the same. What's your guess on the Kaala pre-release business?
