K’taka fans hurl stones at Chiranjeevi’s guest house

Tension prevailed at Chikballapur in Karnataka when Union Minister of State for Tourism K Chiranjeevi visited for campaign for Congress party.

When he participated in election campaign for Congress candidates in Chikballapur, scores of people approached him leading to stampede. The police made  a lathi-charge to quell the mob in which two persons were injured.

Irked over police lathi-charge, a group of 60 fans of Chiranjeevi pelted stones at the Guest House where Chiranjeevi was having his lunch. The injured were shifted to a government hospital and the police were trying to bring peace in the area.
