Jyothika To Reprise Vidya Balan’s Role in Tumhari Sulu Tamil Remake
Actress Jyothika is riding high on the success of her recent Tamil release, Naachiyaar which was out last week. The film won wide appreciation from critics and was lapped up by eager audiences. It has had a dream run at the box office. Naachiyar features Jyothika as a cop.
Meanwhile, Jyothika has signed another project which will be directed by Radha Mohan. This is the second time that she will be collaborating with him after Mozhi. Speculation is that Jyothika is all set to reprise the role of Bollywood actress Vidya Balan.
According to sources, Jyothika's next film will be a remake of Bollywood film Tumhari Sulu. According to a leading channel, Jyothika plans on taking up only films with a social message.
However, there is no official word about the remake of the film, so far. It is also unclear as to who has bagged the movie rights and when it is expected to go on the floors.
On a related note,Jyothika is currently busy with Mani Ratnam’s action entertainer Chekka Chivantha Vaanam.
