Junior college lecturers to be promoted this summer

Hyderabad: The deputy CM K.Srihari, on Friday revealed that junior lecturers would be eligible for promotion this summer. Apart from that all junior colleges will be provided with necessary infrastructure from the next academic year, he said.

On Friday, Kadiam Srihari inaugurated the Telangana Junior Colleges Diary and Calendar in Hyderabad. Speaking at the event, the deputy CM revealed that the government has taken corrective measures in the light of irregularities alleged against the Intermediate Board. The services of the Board will now be available online, he said.

The deputy CM also stated that the government is examining the proposal of changing the status 3,678 contract lecturers to permanent employees.
