Jilted girl student throws acid on lover-lecturer

In a horrific incident, a girl threw acid on a lecturer in Guntur on Saturday.

The victim, Venkatarmana, is working as a maths lecturer at the government polytechnic college at Nallapadu. 

According to reports, Venkataramana and his student Soujanya were in love and he promised to marry her.
Some time ago, Venkataramana married another woman secretly . An upset Soujanya threw acid on Venkataramana's face and fled from the spot. The lecture has been admitted to hospital with severe burn injuries.
As per reports, the incident happened on the premises of the college. Police took Soujanya into their custody and began investigation.
