JC announces contesting for LS as TDP candidate

Former minister J.C.Diwakar Reddy on Saturday revealed his future course of action in politics.

Speaking to reporters at Hindupur in Anantapur district, he said, “From any constituency in Anantapur district,I will contest for Lok Sabha and my brother J.C.Prabhakar Reddy for assembly.”

“I will join TDP officially in the next week,” said J.C.

He said that Congress party was dead in Seemandhra region due to the faults of the party high command.

“I feel Chandrababu Naidu is a capable leader. That’s why I have decided to join in TDP,” said J.C.

He said, “All the Congress leaders in Anantapur district initially tried to join YSRCP only. As they were not given assurances on seats there, all of them are now eyeing on other parties.”
