Jana Reddy: Congress will concede Telangana

Panchayat Raj Minister Jana Reddy has expressed hope that the Congress will soon declare Telangana region as a separate state.

Talking to media in Hyderabad on Thursday, Jana Reddy recalled that he had quit his post for the sake of Telangana in the past and was willing to take strong decisions if need be.

He said that the meeting at Nizam grounds is intended to boost confidence of the public that Congress will concede Telangana. There will be no discussions on special package or Rayala Telangana, he added.
