Jana gets breather in disproportionate assets case

The High Court on Monday rejected a petition by a social activist seeking a CBI probe into alleged disproportionate assets of Panchayat Raj minister K Jana Reddy.

It may be recalled that Social activist VV Rao had filed Public Interest Petition (PIL) against Jana Reddy in the Court alleging that he had amassed wealth through illegal means and demanded a high-level probe to unearth facts.
