Jampanna A Traitor, Suspended Long Back: Maoist Party 

Hyderabad: The CPI - Maoist Party on Thursday declared Ginugu Narasimha Reddy alias Jampanna a traitor and condemned his allegations against the party leadership.

In a letter released to the media, the Maoist Party official spokesperson Abhay said the party had suspended Jampanna over a year ago for his anti-revolutionary activities. "Being a Central Committee member, he did not attend the crucial meetings and never discussed his views about the ideological differences internally," the party said. After working in the naxalite movement for nearly four decades, Jampanna surrendered before the Telangana police this week along with his wife Anitha alias Rajitha who was also an underground activist for over a decade.

While the hardcore naxal leader claimed that he had surrendered before the police only because the party was not willing to change its ideological thinking in line with the changing socio-economic conditions in the country, the party wrote off his claims saying he never put forth his thoughts for discussion in the internal forums.

Jampanna's surrender was an act of treachery as he bowed down at the feet of the enemy compromising on the cause of the people at large, the party said.
