Jagan's Samaikya Sankharavam to resume on Dec 27

YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will resume his 'Samaikya Sankharavam' Yatra (playing the traditional conch shell for unity) at Palamaneru in Chittoor district from December 27.

Jagan's second round of tour will begin from Palamaneru, where it was suspended following his visits to several states to meet national party leaders with a view to garnering support for the united Andhra Pradesh demand.

Jagan would also console family members of those who died of shock following the death of late chief minister and his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, during his tour.

The Yatra will end in Srikakulam district covering several towns and villages. Throughout the length and breadth of the Yatra, he will address public meetings at various places and interact with people.

The YSRCP chief has already met top leaders of the CPI, the CPI(M), BJP President Rajnath Singh, Trinamool Congress Chief Mamata Banerjee, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, Punjab CM Prakash Singh Badal, Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa, Shiv Sena head Udhav Thackeray and Former PM HD Deve Gowda to muster support for a united Andhra Pradesh.
