Jagan mania in Seemandhra region: Palvai

Rajya Sabha MP Palvai Govardhan Reddy on Sunday said that the Telangana Bill will be tabled in the Parliament to carve out separate Telangana state.

Speaking to the media, he said that Congress party would soon take a decision on the contentious issue of Telangana. Claiming that he had got signs from the Congress High Command, Palvai said that the High Command had decided to table the Telangana bill in the Parliament on July 5.

Congress badly lost in Seemandhra region because of the Jagan mania, he added. TRS became strong in Telangana due to the decision being delayed on the statehood issue.
Referring to two MPs who are all set to join TRS, Palvai said that they had acted in haste.

Palvai termed DL Ravindra's dismissal from the Cabinet as 'unfortunate'. It was not a right approach to remove DL without issuing showcase notice to him, he opined. He observed that the CM had taken the decision in anger.

He also added that although it was okay to see ministers resign, suspending them is not our tradition.
