Jagan hails Mangalyan success
YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy termed the successful insertion of Mangalyaan or MOM (Mars Orbiter Mission) into the Martian orbit as an exceptionally great and historic event. He said the success would remain etched in letters of gold in the history of Indian space research.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Jagan said India became the only fourth country in the world and the and first in Asia to successfully launch and execute an inter-planetary mission to Mars. He said Indian mission had become successful in the first ever attempt and this showed the acumen, hardwork and the techno superiority of Indian scientific community.
Indian MOM mission success has placed Indian in the exclusive club comprising Soviets, NASA and the European Space Agency. Jagan congratulated the scientists on the rare accomplishment.
