Jagan askes party MPs to take upTelugu people's issues

YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday exhorted his party MPs to highlight the issues of the Telugu people in Parliament, whose winter session is about to begin soon.

The party MPs met YS Jagan at the Lotus Pond on Saturday. Speaking after the meeting, YSRCP parliamentary party leader Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy said that YS Jagan had suggested that the MPs take up issues of the Telugu people of both the states. He also asked them to discuss with the concerned ministers and officials.

He asked the MPs to bring pressure on the Central Government to release funds for the prending projects.

Mekapati told the mediapersons that his party would raise the issue of Hudhud cyclone relief, farmers issues and the problems of submergence mandals. He also said that the party would demand the disqualification of Nandyal MP SPY Reddy and Araku MP Kothapalli Geetha, who have defected to other parties.
