JAC students protest against fee scheme, held

The Student federation has protested against the new fee reimbursement scheme that was approved by Chief Minister N.Kirankumar Reddy.Senior members from the Joint Action Committee tried to gate crash the secretariat this morning.

The  students comittee hit out at the government's misjudgment and about  how  the it was destroying the earlier educational schemes that were implemented for the  poor. With  this new  scheme, students are losing their best education and it looks like that is what the government wants.

The students from the JAC voiced their disgust stating “It would be good if the government follows the saturation method and also focus on the BC students.” Interestingly the SC,ST students have also come in support of the BC students and protested saying,"They are also equally eligible for the fee reimbursement and we want an explanation as to why govt is discriminating against the BC students." Few ministers who belongs to this community were also unhappy with the decision.The students who protested were taken into custody.
