Hyderabad: Ivanka Trump, who is in the city for GES meeting, reportedly gave the city's celebrated biryani a miss when she sat for dinner along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at the famed Taj Falaknuma Palace on Tuesday.

The dinner was hosted by the Union Government in her honour. Even though the dinner was planned between 7.30 PM and 8.30 PM, it was delayed by an hour. She arrived at the Palace by 8.30 PM. She was guided to the royal dining hall where dinner was arranged for the guests. The royal dining hall is the longest dining table in the world which accomodates 101 persons in one go.

During the dinner, she chose to take starters and fruits. Even the Prime Minister and CM KCR too have limited themselves to a lighter diet.

As many as 99 dignitaries of GES sat for the dinner along with Ivanka. Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, CM KCR, Minister K T Rama Rao and Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran were among those who shared the table. However, no one from Ambani's family have attended the event.

Ivanka, clad in full-length gold and silver coloured gown, tied her hair into a bun.

The lavish dinner consisted of vegetarian and non-vegetarian varieties of Haleem, Khubani ke Malai kofta, Subz Gulzar Biryani, Dahi ke Kebab, Dum Ki Biryani, Mirchi Ka Salan. Deserts Double Ka Meetha and Khubai Ka Mitha.
