It was Shashikumar who fired at Uday: Police

Hyderabad: After prima facie evidence, police have come to a conclusion that Shashikumar, who shot himself to death, was the one who shot Udaykumar, another doctor and partner of Glorial Hospital.

The investigating officer DCP Kamalasan Reddy said that after the primary investigation, we are suspecting that Shashikumar must have fired the gun aimed at Udaykumar, who was sitting in the driving seat, from back seat. It is possible to be shot behind the ear only by the person who is behind him when in the car, the officer said.

DCP said Udaykumar is currently getting recovered in the hospital but it will take time to recover completely. He said Shashikumar’s friend Chandrakala would also be inquired including the staff of Glorial Hospital. The police are investigating into the case in the direction of why the clash erupted between the doctors and if there were any disputes regarding the shares and business of the hospital.
