It’s Balaiah to visit Delhi, but not bavaiah?

Feuds between Nara and Nandamuri families widened further with unveiling of NTR’s statue in Parliament. The row which began over who has to contribute the statue, continued even after it reached Delhi.

Nandamuri family claimed upper hand as they were officially received invitations from the Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar for the unveiling ceremony on May 7, while Nara family was ignored.

Irked by not sending invitation even to TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu, the party MPs led by Nama Nageswara Rao decided to meet Speaker Meira Kumar tomorrow to take her clarification on the issue and register their protest. However, his brother-in-law and actor Balakrishna is preparing to go for the unveiling ceremony.

What prompted the Speaker denying invitation to the TDP chief is a question being raised by TDP circles. They pointed fingers at Purandhreswari, Union Minister for denial of invitations. However, Purandhreswari sent invitations on her behalf to TDP chief and his family along with TDP members of Parliament.

Meanwhile, YSRCP leader and widow of NTR, Lakshmi Parvathi, who also did not get invitation, blamed the Speaker for it. She surprised why she was not invited being a wife of NTR? Did the invitations send as per the wishes of Purandhreswari? She further said that she would write a letter to AICC president Sonia Gandhi and BJP leader Sushma Swaraj and also Speaker Meira Kumar for insult meted out by her over invitation.
