Is TDP MP and education business baron Malla Reddy readying himself to latch on to the TRS bandwagon? If his speech in Malkajgiri on Friday in the presence of chief minister KCR is any indication, he is all set to switch sides.

On Friday, KCR launched land site patta distribution to the landless slum dwellers in Malkajgiri. Local MP Malla Reddy, who owns a chain of educational institutions, was the chief guest. During his speech, he raised KCR to skies and said his becoming CM is welcome augury for the state of Telangana. He said CM KCR had visited Malkajgiri at least four times during the last one year.

His praising naturally raised interest as it has come close on the heels of Revanth Reddy episode.

The TDP is tottering in Telangana with several of its MLAs already hobnobbing with the TRS and some of them voting for the TRS candidate in the recent MLC polls. With the Revanth Case threatening to engulf TDP supremo and AP chief Chandrababu Naidu too, there seems to be confusion in the ranks. Malla Reddy, who owns several engineering colleges, may also find the company of KCR more useful in view of the KCR government’s inspection of engineering colleges.
