Malayalam actress Nithya Menon forayed into Telugu films with Nani's Ala Modalaindi in 2012. The film was a super hit and she grabbed the Iimelight for her performance and was even considered the lady luck in Tollywood. But of late she is not seen in Telugu movies.

After a brief hiatus in Tollywood, Nithya will be soon seen in Nani's upcoming flick Awe which is slotted for February 16 release.

Awe pre-release event was held yesterday which was attended by many Tollywood top stars. Ace director Rajamouli was the chief guest at the event. Rajamouli and Nani have share a good bond ever since they worked together for Eega film.

Nithya Menon who stays away from any kind of movie promotions surprised everyone by attending Awe pre-release event. She was the center of attraction for the whole event. Do you know why? It is not because she rarely attends such functions but because of the extra weight that she has put on. In fact her overweight has become a topic of discussion among the movie buffs.

But this her new look for the movie? Some predict that Nithya Menon might not be accepting any movie offers, especially looking at her body shape out.
