But the most popular among them is Dara Singh who has acted in more than 100 films, while others had a small stint.

Moreover the attraction of the film industry is such that many sports persons wouldn't like to decline a chance to appear on the silver screen.

It is being said that the latest to have been bitten by the acting bug is badminton star PV Sindhu. After having conquered many international titles, Sindhu became a darling of our ad-makers and have bee-lined for her dates to be featured in different advertisements. The badminton star seems to have enjoyed working on ad films simultaneously moving ahead in her sports career.

Recently there has been news in the Telugu film industry circles that PV Sindhu will soon be featuring in a Telugu flick. This news started making rounds after the badminton player herself openly announced that she was a big fan of Baahubali's Prabhas and also that the other star of the film Anushka Shetty is very good friend of her.

The news of supposedly acting in a film spread like a wild fire and finally Sindhu herself had to dose it off by coming out clearly that she was not interested in acting but just loved watching films. She asserted that she would not act in films and would continue to focus on badminton.
