Is Ponnala on his way out?

The latest buzz among the political circles is that Telangana PCC chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah will soon be replaced. 

Giving credence to the rumors, Congress senior leader and Rajya Sabha member Palvai Govardhan Reddy said that Congress High Command will replace Ponnala after the Maharastra assembly polls. 

He asked the PCC chief as to why he is continuing in the post after he took responsibility of the Medak by-election defeat. He demanded the Congress High Command to replace the PCC chief with an young leader. Palvai also accused congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh, who is also in-charge of party affairs in Telangana, was not serious on strengthening the party.
Interestingly, the Congress leader also said that former Union Minister Jairam Ramesh is betraying the party by joining hands with Chandrababu Naidu.
