Is one of the chain-snatchers hit by the police bullet?

Even as the police intensified the efforts to track down the culprits involved in the chain-snatching in Vanasthalipuram, it is now emerging that one of the two chain-snatcher could have sustained bullet injury when the police fired at them.

Two cops in disguise noticed bike-borne chain-snatchers were trying to snatch a gold chain from a woman on road at Autonagar in Vanasthalipuram area on Monday and one of the cops fired at them. Onlookers said at least one of the thieves was injured. Sources also revealed that the thieves took to the Chintalkunta, Sagar Ring Road, Karman Ghat and may have reached Kanchanbagh. The police alerted all the hospitals in the area in view of the possibility of the thieves getting admitted to any of the hospitals. A search is on to nab the chain-snatchers.
