Unable to digest the success of ‘Samaikya Shankaravam’, many Congress leaders resorted to mudslinging on YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, while repeatedly alleging collusion between Congress High Command and Jagan.
Prof K Nageswar, MLC and also renowned political analyst, opined that Congress party itself prompting its leaders to vent such statements against Jagan, to project the party as sole champion of Samaikyandhra stir. Participating in a debate in a news channel on Monday, Nageswar showed Congress party’s undue tolerance on open defiance of its party leaders, as inference.
“The Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy is raising his voice against the Congress high command and many leaders are openly antagonistic on their own party. Why is Congress silent on the disloyalty? Why did not it summon the leaders on the warpath at least with showcause notices?” he said during the debate.
So, he construed that Congress party might have hatched this plan and directing its leaders.
“The CM should have written the letters to Congress party president Sonia Gandhi, instead of addressing them to the President and also the Prime Minister,” he said, making a dent in the sincerity of the Chief Minister.
According to him, writing a letter to Sonia Gandhi, who is the key player in taking the decision in favour of Telangana, might be more beneficial.
“Any letter sent to the President is obviously forwarded to the Home ministry. So, what is the point in dropping a mail to the President?” he said.
