Hyderabad: AIMIM Chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, gave a fitting response to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan's statement saying "show the Indian government how to treat minorities."

The Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi's tweet reminded him about the Pakistan Constitution rules for a only a Muslim person to be President of their country.

Imran Khan's statement was in response to Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah, who while addressing an event said that in his "Naya Pakistan", minorities would feel safe and that in India, minorities are not being treated equally. In a video interview with a Hindi channel, the veteran actor, Shah, said the death of a cow was being given importance over killing of a policeman in India. He also said that the poison had already spread and it would be difficult to contain it.

Imran Khan in an address at Lahore on December 23 said: "We will show the Modi government how to treat minorities...Even in India, people are saying that minorities are not being treated as equal citizens," he said referring to Shah's statement.

Asadudin Owaisi's tweet reminded Imran Khan that the Pakistan Constitution only allows a Muslim to be the President of the country whereas in India it has seen Presidents from various communities.
