Coming down heavily on Congress, YSR Congress party chief Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday said that Congress was dividing Andhra Pradesh only for votes and seat in the upcoming elections.
The Kadapa MP described the INC as Italian National Congress. "Even the British rule was better than the present UPA rule," he added.
“The state is being divided in a very undemocratic way, and the bifurcation is intended to make Rahul Gandhi the next prime minister," he said.
