Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party spokesperson Vasireddy Padma said that Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu ensured that Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not feel the heat of Special Category Status (SCS). She accused Chandrababu saying he had visited Delhi to finalise the Agrigold deal.

Speaking to the media at YSRCP head quaters here today, Padma alleged that when the entire country was protesting on Kathua and Unnao rape incidents, both CM and PM made a formal statement on the incident. "Under Chandrababu's rule every place in AP was turning into a Kathua."

The YSRCP spokesperson said that the atrocities of the TDP representatives had increased manifold over the years. She recalled the incident of MRO Vanajakshi who was attacked by TDP MLA and pointed out that many more such incidents had occured in the last four years. "Despite all these incidents, the AP CM has not come forward in support of women in the state."

Vasireddy Padma said that the women were not safe under TDP and observed that the state was in the second place for girl trafficking. The TDP leaders managed to protect Chandrababu from facing any problems in the callmoney sex racket, she added.
