No Booze Party In Gandhi Hospital Clarifies Superintendent

HYDERABAD: In a clarification about the liquor party held at the Gandhi Hospital on Sunday night, Hospital Superintendent Professor Raja Rao said that no such party had taken place in the hospital. In statement issued on Monday night, he stated that the person Srinivas, a contract worker, had died of a heart attack.

As per reports a few contract workers in Gandhi's hospital had a booze party in the Hospital cellar on the 16th of this month and one of them Srinivas, a contract worker had died early in the morning after coming back.

The hospital administration constituted a fact-finding committee of five doctors to probe into the incident.

The committee members included RMO-1 Jayakrishna, Plastic Surgery, Orthopaedic and Ophthalmology HODs' Subodh Kumar, Satyanarayana, Ravi Shekhar and Associate Professor of Pulmonology Narendra Kumar.

The members of the fact-finding committee spoke to the contract staff and regular employees of the hospital who attended duties on that day the incident took place at cellar premises on Monday.

Superintendent Raja Rao, said that after speaking to them and collecting information the hospital's fact-finding committee had made it clear that there no liquor party that happened in the hospital on that night.
