Hyderabad Teen Rapes Sister’s Friend
Hyderabad: A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her friend's brother here in Chatrinaka area of Charminar, on Saturday.
According to reports, the girl, a class 7 student stays along with her mother, a domestic helper as her father died a few years ago. Reports also said that the accused who is an 18-year old daily wage labourer also stayed in the same locality.
The accused's younger sister and the girl are classmates. He allegedly lured the victim to his house by saying that his sister was seeking help. He took the minor girl to his house when no one was there and allegedly raped her," Vidya Sagar Reddy, Sub Inspector of Chatrinaka said to the daily. As per reports, the accused fled after the incident.
The inspector also added that, the girl's family complained soon after the victim revealed the incident to her mother. She was sent for medical examination and later sent to the Bharosa Centre. According to police, a case has been registered under the relevant Sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Protection Of Children From Sexual Offences (Posco) Act.
