HYDERABAD: The annual Winter Utsav Mela 2019 in Hyderabad is a major attraction every year, where people flock to have their hands on traditional stuff from across India. The exhibition showcases handloom and handicrafts from most of the Indian states.

Myriad stalls related to toys, handicrafts, textiles, handlooms, readymades, glassware, artificial jewellery, cosmetics, fitness equipment, real estate, footwear and decorative items have been put up in the exhibition.

Sellers from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Assam and the North-Eastern states have showcased their state's artefacts in Hyderabad in the exhibition. However, the majority of exhibitors are local traders selling glassware, cosmetics, toys, readymades and fast foods.

Along with that it also has a robotic animal park, a 360-degree virtual reality where you can experience the real thrill of going on a roller-coaster ride, and in hunting zone where people can hunt the animals which are visible on a monitor screen.

For entertainment, there is an amusement area with giant wheels, mini-trains, pendulum rides and other rides.

For food lovers, there are stalls in the Utsav Mela serving a variety of food items like Haleem, hot mirchi bhajjis, vadas, paav bhajis, bondas and fried rice, besides ice-creams, soft drinks, tea and coffee.

The exhibition is being held at the People's Plaza grounds in necklace road. It began from October 2 and will last till December. The exhibition is open from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The ticket cost per individual is Rs. 50.
