Hyderabad Rains: Fitness Trainer Electrocuted In Madhapur

Hyderabad: A city-based fitness trainer died after he got electrocuted during heavy rainfall in Madhapur here on Wednesday.

According to the police, the deceased was identified as 23-year-old Adam Jordan. He was returning home when heavy rains lashed city on Wednesday night and stepped on an iron rod and came in contact with a live wire. He died on the spot.

Following the incident, Jordan's body was shifted to a government hospital for post-mortem examination.

Police registered a case under Section 304 A (causing death by negligence) of Indian Penal Code (IPC) against the contractor who placed the rod in the road.

The torrential rain claimed one more life in Chaitanyapuri when a 43-year-old priest from Pochampally fell in the open sewer and died.
