Hyderabad Youth Returns Home After Undergoing 14 Months’ Torture In Saudi
Hyderabad: A 22-year-old who was meted torture for 14 months at his Kafeel's hands in Saudi was finally rescued and brought back to home in the city on Sunday. Syed Sadiq, a resident of Talab Katta, dreamt big and went to Saudi for greener pastures. However, things turned upside down after he landed there.
His employer locked him up at an isolated place at his farm house away from capital Riyadh and didn't give him food. Other workers who came to know of Sadiq’s condition, informed his family members, who then approached for help to Amjad Hussain, president of Golden Telangana Welfare Association. After a series of letters to the Centre an action was initiated to rescue Sadiq.
His family members were happy that Sadiq reached his homeland safe and no untoward incident happened.
