Hyderabad Youth Dies In Road Accident In US

Hyderabad: A 23-year-old youth hailing from the city died in a road accident in Tucson of Arizona State in the USA on Saturday. The deceased Mihir Dixit was a student at University of Arizona. His father is a senior Central Government official in Hyderabad. The body was flown to Delhi on Saturday.

According to reports, along with Dixit a woman also traveled in the car which was driven by one Anthony Hall. Hall drove the vehicle under the influence of alcohol and constantly changed the lanes at a high speed, following which he rammed the car into a roadside pole. Dixit who was in the rear seat died on the spot, while the woman seated in the front along with Hall sustained injuries. The duo has been shifted to a local hospital.

The driver has been arrested on the charges of murder.
