Hyderabad is not anyone's father property: Kavuri

Congress senior leader and MP Kavuri Sambasiva Rao on Monday made  sensational statements on the statehood issue.

Addressing the Samaikyandhra Samara Bheri in the SV University in Tirupati, Kavuri said that the incapable central government was responsible for the Telangana movement in the state. He asked the central government- will anyone break the state just for damaging the buses?

Stating that sentiment was present in all the states, a four-time MP, kavuri, asked if that be then how many pieces can the country be divided into? Hitting out at TRS president K. Chandrasekhara Rao, he said that it was unfair on the part of KCR to provoke students to participate in the Telangana movement for his political benefit.  He said a separate state cannot be achieved by political parties through who were strengthening themselves by poaching students and holding protests.

Referring indirectly to KCR, the MP said "Telangana state is the plan of some leaders to fill their pockets by collecting crores of rupees from rich," he said adding that Hyderabad was not anyone's father property.

Kavuri also said that the Telangana movement would not have begun had KCR been made a minister during the TDP rule. He also asked KCR as to why he had not taken up the Telangana movement before in his 30 years of political life.
