Hyderabad High Court new Acting Chief Justice is Ramesh Ranganathan

Appointment comes after the elevation of Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale of Hyderabad High court as the Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court
Following the approval from President Pranab Mukherjee, a notification to this effect has been issued on Monday by the Centre.

Hyderabad: The senior-most judge of Hyderabad High Court Justice Ramesh Ranganathan has been appointed as Acting Chief Justice. Following the approval from President Pranab Mukherjee, a notification to this effect has been issued on Monday by the Centre.

Justice Ramesh Ranganathan, born in Delhi on July 28,1958, is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.

The appointment comes after the elevation of Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale of Hyderabad High court as the Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court.

Justice Ramesh Ranganathan, born in Delhi on July 28,1958, is also a qualified Chartered Accountant. He graduated in 1977 and did his post-graduation in Commerce in 1981. He got his law degree from Bangalore University and in November 1985 he enrolled as an advocate at the Andhra Pradesh High Court.

He had been government pleader from 1996 to 2000 and also served as Andhra Pradesh’s Additional Advocate General from July 2000 to May 2004.

On May 26, 2005 he was elevated as Additional Judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court and was made permanent judge on February 20, 2006.
