Hyderabad: The Wall Of Kindness has finally come to the city. The Charity concept, which is a huge success in metro cities like Delhi and Kolkata, is now set up in Rajendra Nagar. It is an intiative in which hooks are put up on a wall designated for the purpose and people leave clothes for the needy.

The initiative is being taken up by the residents of Rajendra Nagar and the GHMC. Anyone who wants to donate their things to the needy can leave them here. The wall was painted by GHMC to help the homeless. "People can leave their old clothes, footwear, blankets and other items here," said the South Zone Commissioner Srinivas Reddy. "The GHMC is planning to have two more of such walls of kindness by June 11th in the Old City," he added.

Likewise, the charity centers in other cities have come up with a theme, "If you don’t need it, leave it. If you need it, take it."
