Hyderabad building collapse: Rescue in progress

The Hyderabad police, GHMC officials and CISF are making all efforts to rescue the people who are trapped under the rubble of the City Light Hotel which collapsed in Secunderabad on Monday.

Rescue teams, along with oxygen cylinders have gone inside the collapsed building through a rope. The CISF staff found six persons alive inside the hotel. Apparently the cries of those trapped can be heard. Police suspect that there are at least 10 to 15 people still inside the building.

The rescue team is also carrying masks. The rescue operation began from two directions, while other two sides of the building are said to be in a dire state, and might collapse anytime.

The police is trying to get the details of the deceased and victims through relatives who are at the spot.
