Hurricane Agnyaathavaasi At Box Office Challenges Baahubali Collections in US
Pawan Kalyan's 'Agnyaathavaasi', which been released today has received a mixed reviews from the audience. The movie hit the US screens yesterday and raked in crores from the premiere shows itself.
Surpassing, the records of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Khaidi No. 150, the movie has grossed over Rs 9.7 crores at the US premieres. The movie broke the records of Baahubali 2 and Khaidi No. 150, which collected over Rs 7.8 crores and Rs 6.2 crores respectively.Now, it remains to be seen if the other shows too bring in the same kind of money. Baahubali 2 currently holds the record and now faces a threat from Agnyaathavaasi.
Trivikram and Pawan Kalyan combination has raised expectations on the movie and the trick worked out perfectly in the collections. Agnyaathavaasi also beat other Hollywood films like Jumanji, Insidous and Star Wars at the ticket window.
The theatrical rights of the movie were sold for exorbitant prices and the distributors booked around 600 screens for the premiere shows in the US.
