Hung government, a reality in Telangana?

Hyderabad, Newly formed state of Telangana is slowly but steadily emerging as the 'Mahabharat' of all political calculations. Every party worth its salt, TRS, Congress, TDP and BJP are trying all possible combinations and permutations to get their political math right in this region.

TRS, the front runner in the Telangana agitation , is still keeping mum over its alliance plans. Even though the party chief, KCR vehemently denied merging with Congress, buzz is that there might still be some sort of merger.

Speculation are rife that TRS will support Congress in the state and BJP in the centre to make sure that they form government and seek support from the centre.

According to political analysts, BJP is gaining strength in the region, and is confident of winning at least 10 to 12 assembly seats.

Congress and TDP together might get 50 seats in Telangana. On the other hand MIM, which is visible politically only in Telangana, is hoping to win at least 10 assembly seats.

To form a government in Telangana, the party needs to have 60 seats.   Political calculations may change after the election notification.
