Housemaid Kills 65-year-old in Chandanagar

In a shocking incident, a maid servant stabbed a 65-year-old woman to death to snatch away her gold ornaments.

The incident occured in Phase II of Lakshmi Vihar in Chandanagar area of Hyderabad city on Thursday morning. Vasundhara, a servant maid, eyed the gold ornaments of 65-year-old Umadevi and stabbed her to death. Later, she locked the door from inside and began searching for the gold.

However, neighbours alerted the police about the incident and the police rushed to the spot. Seeing the police forcibly trying to open the door, Vasundhara tried to kill self. On opening the doors, the police shifted Vasundhara to a nearby hospital.
