Hostel organiser held for misbehaving with minor inmate

A hostel organiser was arrested for allegedly misbehaving with a 12-year-old girl inmate at Neredmet here, police said on Wednesday. 

Sampath was arrested last night and produced before a court today which sent him in judicial remand, said Neredmet police station inspector N Chandra Babu. The girl in her complaint had accused Sampath of touching her indecently on the hostel premises over the past two years, he said. 

Around 40 girls stay at the hostel where they are provided food and accommodation while they attend different schools, police said.
