Hold local body polls on party symbols: Chandrababu

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday demanded local body elections on party symbols.

He sought reservations be taken into consideration on the basis of population ratio. Welcoming the Supreme Court decision to conduct elections for local bodies as per 2001 census, Babu said 50 % reservations for women and from the post of panchayat ward member to municipal corporation mayor and also BC reservations should  be followed as per the guidelines of the SC.
