Hectic schedule for CM Kiran in Delhi

It is a hectic day for Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy in New Delhi on Monday.

The Chief Minister met AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi and several union ministers before returning back to Hyderabad. Earlier this day, Kiran Kumar Reddy participated in the convention of chief ministers and judicial officers. 

During the meeting with Rahul Gandhi, Kiran Kumar Reddy reportedly briefed him on the party affairs in the state and latest developments in the state. Rahul is learnt to have asked the CM about the steps taken to bridge the gap between the government and the party to ensure better coordination. 

Antony, Moily urged more gas allocations

Earlier, the Chief Minister met Union Minister A K Antony and pleaded with him to change the priority list of States on the gas allocations. He met Union Minister for Petroleum Veerappa Moily on Sunday and explained him the need of additional gas allocations for the state in view of severe power crisis. He also met Union Home Minister Susheel Kumar Shinde and described the law and order situation after the Dilshuknagar twin blasts. 

Kiran Kumar Reddy also met Union Minister for Law Aswin Kumar in the afternoon and discussed about the central aid for setting up additional courts and increasing the judges in the State to hasten the legal cases. Earlier, the Chief Minister called on Union Minister for health and in-charge of AP affairs Gulam Nabi Azad, AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh and AICC treasurer Motilal Vora and explained about the political situation prevailed in the State.  

Kavuri meets CM

In a fresh development, Congress MP Kavuri Sambasiva Rao met Chief Minister at Andhra Bhavan and the meeting went on for nearly half-an-hour. Their meeting attainted significance with regard to Telangana issue. However, what transpired between them is to be known further.
