Senior leaders of Telugu Desam Party have already started their lobbying to get the post of Chairman of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).

As of now, Narasaraopet MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, Anantapur MP J.C.Diwakar Reddy, former MLA Chadalawada Krishna Murthy and former minister Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu are trying their level best to get the key post in Tirupati.

As per the sources, Chandrababu Naidu promised Rayapati the post before the elections and after that only Rayapati entered TDP. Rayapati had unsuccessfully tried for the post several times when he was in Congress party.

He could not get a berth in the union cabinet too now and so he is demanding the post.

J.C.Diwakar Reddy, who was elected as an MLA for five times and now an MP, is also trying his level best to get the post.

Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu, who lost from Nagari assembly constituency in Chittoor district in the recent elections, is requesting the party leadership to make him either a state minister or the Chairman of TTD.

As per the party sources, Chadalawada Krishna Murthy also got a promise on the post from Chandrababu Naidu if the former could support Venkata Ramana in Tirupati assembly constituency in the elections. As Venkata Ramana won from Tirupati, Krishna Murthy is pressurizing Chandrababu for the post.

We have to wait and see who gets the post ultimately.
