Heartless Father Impregnates Minor Daughter

Bhopal: A 38-year-old man was arrested on Saturday for allegedly raping and impregnating his 14-year-old daughter at Indore in Madhya Pradesh.

According to reports, Mangal Sinha along with his wife and daughter are residents of Musakhedi village in Indore. The girl was being repeatedly raped by her father over the last few months when everyone was asleep at night. He also threatened the girl of dire consequences if she revealed the matter to her mother.

The incident came to light when the girl complained of stomach ache to her mother. She was taken to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared that the girl was six months pregnant. When questioned by her mother, the girl disclosed the matter. The mother then lodged a complaint to the police against her husband.

The police registered a case under POCSO act and he was sent for investigation. On the other hand, the girl was sent for counselling.
