Telangana Joint Action Committee (JAC) convenor M Kodandaram slammed Union Minister Chiranjeevi for his recent comments on the Telangana row.
He said that if an actor forgets script, it will create confusion, and if one actor's script is read by another, that will lead to chaos. Same situation will prevail if a politician forgets his promises made before elections.
Referring to Chiranjeevi, Kondandaram said that the actor-turned-politician once promised that his party was for a 'social' Telangana where the social justice would be rendered to the under-privileged castes. But the actor is singing a new tune now.
It may be recalled that when Chiranjeevi entered politics and launched his own party—Prajarajyam, he gained a few quick votes and popularity through his statement that he will support the Telangana cause. However, the union tourism minister changed his stance soon after he joined the Congress party.
He also said that Union Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde had set a deadline to the Telangana issue in the past and now said there is no deadline for the issue.
