Has Chintu fled to Sri Lanka?

The investigation into the murder case of Chittoor Mayor Anuradha and her husband Kathari Mohan is taking twists and turns. The chief accused in the murder case, Chintu, who is also the nephew of the couple, is now underground and if sources are to be believed, he has already made good his escape from India and could be in Sri Lanka.

Apprehensions are being expressed about if he has left India either from Nellore or Puducherry or even Chennai. Chintu, a marine engineer by academic qualification, has also worked in merchant navy for sometime. He reportedly has good contacts in some 20 countries and may have used these contacts to escape the police dragnet.
The police on their part are confident of nabbing Chintu.
