TV anchor Harsh Vardhan arrested

Popular TV anchor Harsh Vardhan was arrested by West Godavari police for demanding money from a dental college correspondent.

Harsh Vardhan is popular in a TV channel with his program ‘Crime Watch’.

He called the correspondent of St Joseph Dental College and threatened to broadcast the news items against the college if he did not give him an amount of Rs. 5 cr.

The victim approached the district SP Raghurami Reddy. With this, the SP fielded special teams to arrest Harsh Vardhan and another person who helped the anchor to do the crime.

Finally, Harsh Vardhan was caught in Vijayawada on Saturday night for the special teams of West Godavari police.
